Central Asia

Bringing Good News is presently working with Christian organizations and groups in three central Asian countries; however, due to state-sanctioned persecution of Christians in these countries, we have decided not to put photographs of individuals or talk specifically about these projects on this site.

Through the generosity or our supporters we have helped with the following projects:

  • Funding for translation and printing of a large number of Christian books (to date, we have been involved in the purchase of over 13,000 copies of 9 different books);
  • Helping children's centers and orphanages provide food and education for those from deprived backgrounds, who are denied even basic educational opportunities;
  • Supporting children's summer camps. Bringing Good News sends large groups of underprivileged children on camping holidays - where they receive three meals a day, enjoy a range of fun activities, art and sports, and receive excellant bible teaching. Bringing Good News also supplies clothing and shoes where required. These children's holidays result from your generosity - even a little goes a long way. For as little as $18.00, it is possible to send a child on one of these summer camps;
  • Funding for children's playground;
  • Funding for two youth centres;
  • Funding for six young people to go to university;
  • We have purchased two apartments which provide accommodation for boys upon leaving a emergency rescue shelters;
  • Bringing Good News has provided funding for two cars, which will better enable pastors to meet the needs of their communities;
  • Bringing Good News provides support (materially and financially) to pastors who are involved in children's ministry.

Our Core Values

Bringing Good News has six core values which guide and determine our actions.

The core values are our aim, a challenge that we seek to live and work by each day.

    We are called to serve those in the greatest need; to relieve their suffering and to promote their well being. Bringing Good News is committed to help the poor to become self sufficient.

    Integrity with those we serve, our supporters, and other partners. Bringing Good News will act with honesty, truth and transparency. We value financial integrity and accountability.
  • We are STEWARDS
    Bringing Good News is by faith dependent on God for the provision of all our needs. God has given us the responsibility to work with diligence in using the resources he has entrusted to us. God has given us supporters and partners who enable us through their prayers and financial gifts. Bringing Good News believes that it is right to make needs known, so that supporters can pray and give towards those needs.
  • We work in PARTNERSHIP
    Bringing Good News pursues relationships with others, we seek to work in partnership with those individuals and organizations that have common goals and values.
