A friend of mine once said, “The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing”.
It’s a bit of a mouthful but it reminds me to keep our focus on the main thing. With so many extremely poor and needy people it’s easy to forget the main thing. I am very grateful to my trustees and directors who make sure that sharing the life and teaching of Jesus Christ remains central to our work. After all Jesus said, I am The Way, I am The Truth and I am The Life. We give practical help to many living in poverty and suffering but we also know how important it is for them to hear about the life and teaching of Jesus.
The picture shows one of the ministries we support where CD’s of good quality Bible teaching are produced in 5 different languages and then distributed in areas where it is difficult for people to hear the teaching of the Bible and especially about the life of Jesus.
