Kindness Can Lead to Smiles

Since I returned from Nepal in December, I learnt about extreme poverty in a Nepalese hill village. Thanks to your kindness we have been able to provide warm blankets for 60 families and warm clothes for 150 children living in the village. The gospel was shared and simple literature distributed. Children laughed and parents smiled.

I would like to thank all of you whether you prayerfully support, financially give or occasionally read these newsletters. Your kindness and support have put a smile on many faces. In fact, since I returned in December, we have started to support 3 Nepalese pastors, one of whom who will visit hill villages and one who will reach out to the untouchables. We have helped build a church and helped repair a church damaged by the earthquake in 2015.

In addition, we have also sent funds for the next semester in two Bible colleges in South Sudan. In Central Asia we have supported 11 students to continue their studies, provided funds for a week’s training in the art of communicating the Bible through storytelling and started a children’s feeding program in an extremely poor town.

In writing I am mindful of the phrase, “The Lord’s kindness leads to repentance”. I thank all of you for your kindness which is changing lives and creating smiles.
